MASS 3.25.4

Release Date: 2026-02-16

Improvements

  • Enhanced Camera Control: For supported camera models, you can now directly control presets, focus (+/-), and auto-focus from the video bar. A new speed control slider has also been added, allowing operators to adjust the camera's continuous movement speed for more precise manual control.
  • Integrated GPS Tracking for Radar Position Calibration: A new built-in GPS tracking tool has been added to the MASS map, streamlining the radar calibration process. This feature allows technicians to record and visualize GPS tracks directly within the system to match against radar detections, significantly improving positioning speed and accuracy without relying on third-party applications.
  • Walaris Video Analytics Health Monitoring: The system now actively monitors the performance of the video analytics engine used for drone classification. Operators will receive a clear error message if the processing frame rate drops, ensuring early detection of potential performance degradation.
  • Improved I/O Device Connectivity: The system now periodically polls connected I/O devices to ensure the connection remains active. This prevents timeouts and disconnections with certain hardware models, improving overall reliability.
  • Alarm Pop-up UI Enhancement: The user interface for alarm target pop-ups has been updated for a cleaner, more consistent look and feel. Users can now customize the fields displayed in the pop-up, similar to the Target Info panel.
  • Extended Supported Camera List: Added support for 29 new camera models.
  • System Performance and Security: Updated numerous third-party packages to their latest versions, resolving security vulnerabilities and enhancing the overall stability and security of the platform.
  • Advanced Tracker Configuration: The update period for the targets can now be configured in the global system settings, providing advanced users with finer control over system performance and resource allocation.

Bug Fixes

  • Drone Classification Reliability: Addressed a critical issue where the system would sometimes fail to use the video analytics engine for drone classification after a new tracker model was uploaded. Drone classification now remains consistently engaged as configured.
  • Improved Drone Tracker Performance: Resolved an issue where newer drone tracker models were failing to classify drone targets correctly. Detection and classification performance is now restored.
  • Manual Camera Control: Corrected an issue where manually dragging a camera's Field of View (FOV) while it was in Auto Track mode was unreliable. Manually adjusting the view now correctly disengages Auto Track and moves the camera to the desired position.
  • Drone Candidate Display: Fixed a bug where targets identified as potential drones by the video analytics module did not appear as "candidates" on the map before being confirmed. The map now correctly displays the candidate status during the classification process.
  • Camera FOV Rendering: The camera's Field of View (FOV) is now rendered correctly when pointing above the horizon. A user-configurable range limit prevents the FOV from extending infinitely when it does not intersect with the ground.
  • Log File Timezone Accuracy: Resolved an issue where log files would not reflect a change in the server's timezone until a full system restart. Log files are now created with the correct, current timezone.
  • Suspended Target Alerts: Fixed a problem where enabling "Show suspended targets" would incorrectly trigger "Max Target Age Exceeded" messages. The system now correctly calculates track age without including suspended tracks.
  • Video Analytics Stability: Implemented several fixes to improve the stability and performance of the video analytics module, including better GPU resource assignment.
  • Camera Azimuth Configuration: The system now allows setting a camera's azimuth to values with decimal points above 359 (e.g., 359.9), allowing for more precise configuration.
