MASS 3.26.0

Release Date: 2026-08-12

danger

Version 3.26.0 contains a known issue affecting drone target classifications on AR radar models. Upgrading to version 3.26.1 is strongly recommended to resolve this behavior

Key Features

  • Video Wall: Introduced robust Video Wall layouts, empowering operators to simultaneously view mapping data alongside multiple video feeds for improved situational awareness and tracking.
  • Radar Hub & Batch Administration: Introduced a centralized Radar Hub interface providing real-time status monitoring, diagnostic telemetry, and inline configuration editing for multiple radars simultaneously.
  • High-Performance Tracking Engine: Replaced the legacy tracking engine with a high-performance, standalone core, delivering low-latency sweep processing, reduced memory footprint, and isolated process execution per radar.
  • Multi-Radar APU Support: Added compatibility for new APU hardware models, enabling connection and simultaneous tracking of multiple Phoenix radar instances through a single APU device.
  • Radar Sensitivity Configuration: Replaced complex threshold tuning with straightforward "Sensitivity" modes across all radar models, drastically reducing setup time and standardizing deployment accuracy.

Improvements

  • Proactive Storage Management: The system now automatically assesses disk space requirements on startup and continuously monitors usage, providing timely alerts to prevent critical storage outages.
  • Drawings elements behavior Drawing elements on map now do not change size as map changes zoom level.
  • High resolution map support: Granted administrators the capability to dynamically define maximum native zoom levels for tile map layers, enhancing visual fidelity for high-resolution map providers.
  • Upgraded UI Stack: Migrated the core processing engine and updated core UI frameworks, ensuring a faster, more secure, and responsive user experience.
  • Modernized User Management: Redesigned administrative user management screens with modern UI components to simplify operator permissions and access controls. New User Management is now located in Configuration page.
  • Default AI Appliance Credentials: Simplified AI appliance integration by allowing username and password fields to be left blank to automatically utilize default system credentials.
  • Network Discovery Settings: Provided a new configuration option to disable the internal Plug-and-Play (PNP) discovery service, reducing network noise in emulated or restricted environments.
  • Tracker Error Visibility: Integrated core tracker failure states directly into the system health monitor to ensure administrators are immediately notified of connectivity drops.
  • Streamlined Alarm Reporting: Improved the alarms data export format for better Excel compatibility by incorporating a 24-hour time format and introducing a dedicated profile name column.
  • Radar Processing Watchdog: Introduced a radar detection-stream watchdog that flags radars as non responding and notifies system health if the processing engine hangs despite active network link.
  • System Health: Processing Alerts: Added Nodejs event loop and latency monitoring that surfaces warnings in the System Health dialog when radar processing stalls or stops responding, helping administrators identify server-side processing issues before they affect tracking.

Bug Fixes

  • Disabled unintended azimuth and tilt cloning when cloning sensor parameters, ensuring pre-calibrated alignments are not accidentally overwritten.
  • Resolved an issue where dual camera presets mistakenly applied zoom configurations to secondary cameras even when synchronization was explicitly disabled.
  • Strengthened spatial tracking constraints by ensuring alarm zones properly validate minimum and maximum height limits, even when defined as zero.
  • Refined the boat classification iconography based on user feedback to provide a clearer, side-profile visual representation.
  • Ensured that sensor coverage zones lacking a custom name gracefully fall back to default appliance naming conventions instead of displaying as blank.
  • Corrected the map overlay upload process to present clear, prominent error guidance if an administrator attempts an invalid direct directory upload, while successfully expanding the upload limit to 3GB.
  • Resolved an issue where messages written to the Linux journal displayed numerical codes instead of their corresponding human-readable log levels (such as Debug, Info, or Warn).
  • Fixed an issue where non-transmitting radars with active targets caused log spam by continuously reporting increasing target ages across multi-radar deployments.
  • In User Units settings distance fields failed to update automatically upon switching between metric and imperial units. Also corrected a bug that saved duplicate imperial values instead of converting them to meters on bulk save.

Compatibility

  • System Requirements: The server backend now strictly requires Node.js version 24. Initialization will automatically halt if the host machine uses an unsupported version.

Known Issues

  • Legacy Radar Management in Radar Hub: Legacy radar models are not supported within the new Radar Hub interface. To configure and manage legacy radar units, administrators must use the standard workflow via the main map and individual edit dialogs.
  • AR Radar Drone Classification: AR radar models successfully detect drone targets but currently report them as Unclassified rather than applying the designated Drone classification.
  • Factory Reset of Radar Resets Network: In Radar Hub, if performing Factory Reset on a radar, network settings will reset as well, which will also reset the radar's IP to default.
